after not having ran for the past 2 wks, tonite's run was... tough... the last time i ran, i tot i made some kind of progress and it was kinda smooth... but now, 2 wks later, it almost feels like im back to square one...
city run was nice... half of the run was in the dark lol... like wy said, we really need more lights (cmon National Parks Board! do something!) along the way otherwise its not too safe for girls... was sposed to erm stick to estee but after like 5mins(?), was left in her wake hahaha... then wy bo pian must slow down to stay with her ahhahahhah.
cant say theres much scenery, cept dark dark water, the nite lights, and couples makin out... i tot i saw this couple 5 secs away fr some oral sexing action (not that i really WANT to watch but still...) but they spotted me dammit...
the thing bout the city run is that u end at esplanade... so u dont have a choice but to actually try to run fast and dont look like ure struggling coz 10,000 pple could be watching... now my legs are like fuckin painful... cant move much. argh.
to be totally honest, i doubt i can meet my target for the actual run... which was to complete the entire thing without stopping... jason said that running that far, ur ankles will sure give problem but now, at a much shorter distance, my ankles are killing me liao... jiat lat sia.
oh well, cant say im not trying.

there was this song i heard on the radio... it was really nice... lyrics kinda meaningful... so i went round searchin on youtube for it and found a few vids... its damn nice and i was quite exciting bout putting the youtube vid here...
til i realised janet put the same song up (twice!) on her blog last week -_-' omg we really should get married or something... so much in common there tsk.

sinking of japan... it was better than i expected... full of action/special effects sequences but i wished they had concentrated more on the human/love aspect... bleh.
anyway so after 3/4 of the film that consisted of large-scale destruction and a rocketing death count (i think about 80mil japanese dead... gasp), the show suddenly switched to this strange 15min emo part... which can probably pass off as the 'love scene'... which climaxed (or rather anticlimaxed) when the girl told the dude to 'make love to me' and promptly got rejected... like wat did she expect man... they were in an emergency tent wtf... tok bout wrong timing.
anyway the ending of this 'love scene' sorta made up for all the emo crap... nice goodbye-hug-tears-flow-freely scene with a pretty nice song...
all in all, not a bad show to watch... but compared to wat i watched recently (deathnote, departed, prestige), the story just doesnt cut it... but if ure not so much into plot and more into OMG THE VOLCANO ERUPTED! or OMG 10,000 PPLE + LOOMING TSUNAMI! go ahead and watch it... the 2 leads are good-looking too... the dude is the guy fr SMAP and also fr MESSENGER... the babe is really cute with really long smooth nice hair (like mine after i started using conditioner)...
heres that song fr the scene i mentioned above... not sure whether its korean or japanese... the singers seemed to be korean... but if it IS korean, why the hell is a korean song used in a japanese movie?!
